| for our 16th wedding anniversary.
We found it at an antique store.
It's a Victorian era, child's coffin. It's very rustic and crude and I am in love with it.
Even the lining is crude and you can tell, done by someone that was not a pro.
Hubby and I are having a party soon and I'll take pictures of it then and post them. |

| Oh wow, that's pretty cool! Can't wait to see the pics. I wonder if there's some story to the coffin...who it was built for, why it wasn't used, etc. I guess we'll never know. |

| Sounds lovely, GS! I once saw an antique coffin used as a coffee table. Maybe that would work for you too, if there's something protective on top? Just a thought. |

I too am dying (no pun intended) to know why it wasn't used, but being as the guy we bought it from sells antiques for a living, I'm sure he either doesn't have the story or didn't care to find out.
He also had a sign from an insane asylum I wanted, but hubby put his foot down at that one.

This coffin is tiny so it's not good for much except as show and it's so crude and old that I'd be afraid to do anything but display it. |
