It does look like a shell-less turtle. I'm sure it isn't a monster. There are tons of animals on this planet that we have yet to see.

I just saw some extra pictures of this thing and it definetly had/has fur on it and it looks like it might have been on the beach from a day or two. In the new pic's showing it from diffrent angles and moved you can tell it doesn't have a beak so its very possible that there is some decomp at work there. It is probably something very natutal, it could be some unknown cryptid but I don't think so

Alot of sites which have been following the story have claimed it's a decomposed racoon. I've included an update to the new info on the story.

I don't think its a racoon, I'm leaning toward dog, a boxer or a pit, something small with the wide brow and big flat nose.

Man From Florida Worried That Montauk Sea Monster May Be His Dog

I hope he's wrong about that.

I've seen that shark before but I've never seen that jaw thing, now thats pretty cool...

Heres the best I could translate the video title

"Real aliens!噛みつくout for each jaw Monster Shark goblin (Duties: MITSUKURIZAME, many live in Tokyo Canyon)"

I was just watching MonsterQuest and an expert looked at the head and says it looks like the skull of a boxer bull dog.
