Windsor Genova - AHN News Writer
Houston, TX (AHN) - Former WWE wrestler Edward "Umaga" Fatu, 36, died at a Houston hospital Friday after suffering a heart attack at his home on Thursday night.

Umaga's life support was removed Friday morning after he suffered another heart attack, according to family members who came to the hospital to say their goodbyes to the wrestling star.

Umaga's wife rushed him to a local hospital when she found him not breathing and bleeding from his nose on Thursday night.

Umaga had just returned from the Hulkamania tour overseas. The native of American Samoa gained major publicity for his match in WrestleMania 23 opposite Bobby Lashley in 2007. The show was the top grossing wrestling event in pay per view TV.

He trained under the Wild Samoans tag team of Afa and Sika, his uncles, and debuted in the WWE as Jamal in 2002.

His contract with the WWE was terminated in June
