I'm a newbie to putting on make-up, but lately, I've taken interest in eyeshadow and eyeliner (much to my mother's dismay).

I'll admit, I have no idea how to do it right, so if anyone could post some sort of tutorial or links to such, I would be extremely grateful.

In eyeshadow, I have a basic little pack of a gunmetal-ish type color, silver, light gray, and black. Would it be prudent to obtain another set of colors as well?

Your eye shape also has to be taken into play.
