| The hubby and I found a 16GB iPod nano while walking in the woods in the park by our house. I'd love to keep it for myself - I have a 2nd generation nano with no storage space left and could use a replacement. But the hubby thinks we should try to find the owner. Is there an way to track the owner? I'd hate to turn it in to Lost & Found only to have it sit in a drawer in a park ranger's desk somewhere, ya know? Any suggestions? |

| I don't know. Don't they have'a place somewhere in the park office where people post lost stuff? Probably not one of those things that the serial # is registered with the company huh? Not that they would give out that info as to who it belongs to, but they might could contact them. * Edit reason.. Uhhhh...and moving right along... next random thought... ((( ))) .. uackkkk

| Diva: Might want to call the police (on the non-emergency line, naturally) to report it lost. My husband and I had to do that once, and we were told that if no one claimed the reported goods in 6 months, we could have it. Then again, in our case, the reported goods were $$$. |

| ^^Which is why now that it is my bed time I'm going to stay up an extra hour. I know I'm not going to like it too much in the morning but I took an hour and a half nap. So even if I wanted to, I wouldn't be able to sleep right now anyway. |

Update The NYC Parks Dept. doesn't really have a lost and found. I went to several websites that deal with missing iPods and entered the serial number, but the girl who's iPod it was didn't register her iPod on any of those sites. I spoke with a few people, and it seems like there wouldn't be any way to track down the owner. She didn't have any personal information stored in that thing. Dealing with the NYPD these days is too hassle, so I didn't even bother. There's a good chance she probably hasn't even reported it mising to them anyway.
So now I have a new iPod. Yay! |

| I'm going to eat properly tomorrow. I've existed with no bread, dairy or coffee for four days. The first two were pretty much okay apart from headaches but today I felt cold and sick. _________________ Well, the Devil he taught us how to rock and then he turned us loose |

Yikes! That's no good. I'd reintroduce a couple of those tomorrow, even if it's just a little.
In other food news: I'm trying to eat more eggs to increase iron in my diet, but they don't seem to agree with me. And just one has 71% of the cholesterol I'm supposed to have in a day. So, I think I'll try other iron sources. |

It does have some iron! And here I was thinking it just tasted good. Less than spinach, but same as apricots or a veggie burger. Click here and scroll down for chart
I read on the Mayo clinic's site that fruit/veg sources of iron aren't as easily absorbed as iron from meat, but having the fruit/veg with something rich in vitamin C will help you absorb the iron. |
