I had a checkup w/bloodwork on Friday. Everything's fine, except... apparently I'm anemic. I'm not worried; it's fixable once we work out the cause.

I guess I should take this as a compliment:

I have a client who's always been a little rude to me, but I figured it wasn't intentional. Today she came in with her husband and her interior designer. She was yammering on to the designer about some hooka bar she had been to, and her husband was just sitting there. I said to him, "Good afternoon." He said the same. Wifey stopped mid-conversation to say "Hi" to me, with a quick smile and a longer glare.

My random thought is that I really hope my friend and work mate is okay. She was off all last week with flu like symptoms. She came back to work on Monday looking more dead than I do and today she was throwing up. I sent her home but have since found out that she has been rushed to hospital with suspected diabetes. She's been losing tons of weight and there wasnt very much of her to start with

We could all do with some good news. I thought 2010 was going to be a good one, so far it's been nothing but shite
