Some random guy on myspace is trying to tell me he owns his own business and he is a good poker player. He also told me he smokes weed. I told him I'm not interested in being with someone that does drugs and he said he wouldn't do them for a chance to be with someone like me.

^^Sad thing is I think I'm going to meet up with him. I'm obviously going to go with a friend for first meeting mind you but we will see where it goes. At this point I don't care if a crazy rapes and kills me. I'm just so d@mn desperate for some kind of "love" and attention that what the hell. Even if it's for 5 minutes. It's more then what I've had in a long time.

I was just in a really dark place last night. I mean true I am planning on meeting this guy with friends just because it can't hurt to just meet a person. If nothing else comes out of it there can always be a friendship or distance between him and other people I meet in the future.

At the same time I was just really angry. Zombie is always with her bf and I don't think they take the time out to realize how their hanging on each other all the time affects me. Even when I do ask them to calm it down. Same thing with Alyssa. She is what cut my chord last night. She always has guys hanging on her left and right telling her how pretty she is and offering to take her out and all she says is they annoy her.

She was trying to tell me that she wants attention from those guys but none of them is what she wants yet she goes out with them and talks with them all the time. The most I get is guys either laughing at me telling me I'm ugly or saying they want nothing to do with me but, "Can you hook me up with your hot friend?" (insert alyssa or zombie here.) I'm just so tired of all of the crying and feeling lonely.

I literally sit at home all day unless I'm going to work, college, or alyssa and or zombie want to go out for coffee. I feel like my life is being wasted yet I don't have the money to go out and do anything. I think I'm just tired of getting love thrown in my face when I've always wanted it but could never have it. At the same time I'm tired of watching people take so many chances and throwing them away just because they can and they have other opportunities.

Mind you alyssa isn't the only one. Right now I know at least 4 people doing the same thing she is. One is even leading her bf on and she keeps thinking about leaving him but "oh I will lose my virginity to him then leave. Oh nope I'm going to get alcohol from him then leave. Nope. I'm going to hang out with this other guy and if it works I'll leave." I'm just so tired of good people being wasted and hurt when I want something like this so much and so many people are either wasting it or throwing it in my face.

Once upon a time I was just like you DCGG.
All my friends had guys who had crushes on them and I never had a single one. They all had guys who flirted with them and no guy ever looked my way.
All my friends had boyfriends and I didn't. I always felt like the 3rd, 5th, 7th...wheel.
But then there came a time when I just stopped looking. I went out and had a good time with my friends. I didn't get bothered by their relationships. I didn't get bothered by the fact that i was the only single one in my group of friends. They tried to include me which I appreciated.
Then, one day love found me. In the form of a tall, skinny, talented musician.
Of course I didn't believe his interest in me. Like come on, it's me. The girl who NEVER got the guy. But I got him and still have him
And from what I have seen with my own eyes, out of all my friends, I probably have one of the best relationships with my boyfriend. I didn't rush or settle just because everyone else had a guy.
Point is, you can't rush love. It just happens. And they say it happens when you least expect it.
And it usually does. Try not to worry about it. You still have time.
And have fun. don't let it get the best of you.

There is this guy I like that works at a coney island by my house. I've only watched him cook but I love all of his tattoos and piercings. I want to talk to him, but I wouldn't know what to say and I don't know when he gets off of work. I feel shy when it comes to making the first move towards someone I think looks good.
