I honestly don't mind working Saturdays. I just can't stand working on Sundays. It's not because of religion or anything like that. It just feels innately strange to work them :shrug:

I visited my brother and sister-in-law in the Poconos in Pennsylvania. I don't get to see them often enough so it was really nice to spend the day with them.

Dan treated me to pizza tonight. When I arrived at the place, he had a single red rose accented by babies breath that he had attempted to dye black, but luckily succeeded in scenting with his own special blend called Black #2, which smells of clove & other scrumptiousness
I say attempt because although the tip of the rose did take the dye, the petals that were suppose to be mostly black fell off. It was still beautiful though & I loved the idea & thought of it
Then we went to the bar that hosts goth night & bullsh!tted, played pool & darts, & chatted about poetry, art & our trip to Seattle coming up ^_^ Always a pleasure..

Tomorrow I have a day off. Sleep time!!!

I just keep telling myself after next week I get spring break.

We got a dog this weekend. That brings our total to 9 pets with one still on the way.

I woke up this morning, and my feet and ankles didn't hurt for the the first time in months! I'm so damn happy! I've had this nagging heel pain in the mornings for a while because of my plantar fasciitis, and the pain has been working its way to my ankles. It only hurts first thing in the morning when I first step on the ground, and when standing up anfter sitting for long periods of time.

Anywho, this morning, the pain was all gone. Nothing. It was strange. Wonderful, but strange. I hope it lasts!

Last night I found myself able to bike almost all the way through a hilly area just outside of the city. I only had to get off my bike and walk for a few yards towards the crest of one hill. I am so proud of myself for that- I was never able to do that before!

I feel happy that my oldest nephew's quilt is almost done!

I've got a $25 gift certificate to Macy's and a coupon for a free bracelet at Sephora. Gonna redeem them tomorrow.

The alice in wonderland movie is coming out and I really really really wana go see it. If matt can get out of work I think this would call for a sonics date and a midnight movie release.

Oh thank God -- I thought one of the utilities checks was going to bounce b/c there's not much in my acct until Sat., but it turns out my balance is low b/c the check already went through. Phew!

My Damned tickets arrived today! Whooop whooop!

I know the gig isnt until June but this is really something to look forward to and I can't wait!

I got my student fee paid for today. They are sending me paperwork for on campus living and for my orientation within a week.

I'm also going to go see alice in wonderland tomorrow after I get up with the bf since he had to work tonight. I still think a sonic date sounds great with that.

I'm happy because I've been getting positive responses from my female friends about a group gift for our friend Kitty who's birthday is coming up in a few weeks. I suggested we make scrap book, where everyone contributes a page or two. I already had a spare scrapbook hanging around the house, too. I just hope everyone follows through.

Sales...mucho sales. 'Nuff said.
