Had a productive payday this week.
I bought a dress, shoes, bracelet, earrings, necklace, mini sweater and pantyhose for the wedding I have at the end of the month.
More necklaces and earrings, 2 purple studded belts, black track pants, shirt, part of my brother's Christmas presents. I paid my cell, paid my mom back and saved money to get my hair fixed up some time next week.
Yay me!!

I just sent in applications for a few work study jobs. It looks like I have a good shot at a job teaching an after school art program at a local community center. I'm really hoping that I get that job...

I'm going to our closest Big City tomorrow. Wrexham may seem very small to most people but to me it's MASSIVE and they have a TK Maxx which has the BEST Halloween stuff.

They also have a most beautiful cathedral and I'm planning on draping myself over some stones whilst avoiding the very zealous canon

I feel CRAZY happy because I start my 9-day holiday vacation from work beginning Saturday....!

Each year at this time I schedule this particular week away from the job.

All my sugar skulls are made and ready to go, I've oodles of ghostly tours and social events scheduled for celebrating Day of the Dead, All Soul's and All Saint's Day and even my birthday will be in the mix....!

Last night I went to see Tyoe O Negative. They were amazing! One of the opening bands threw a drumstick and it hit me in the chest thatwas pretty funny. Got to watch the security throw out two
b!tches that were causing problems. First they started a fight with some guy, then they tried to start a fight with my dad, and then they tried to steal my top hat and my front row spot. They tried to fight the security too, not a good idea.

Today I'm spending the day relaxing since tomorrow I'm going with my friend to the Misfits show!

My Birthday Weeks celebration is going as planned. Got a "corporate" birthday card from the big boss man at work last Friday, on Saturday I claimed my birthday freebie from Sephora: a set of three mini lipglosses, and today the Chanel lady gave me a bottle of lip lacquer in my favorite color. yay! Oh, and I think my friends are planning a thing for me tomorrow night. Super yay!

1/3 of the way done with this paper! and anthro meeting in 40 minutes

I just sold a watercolor to a client. She also bought a pair of earrings I made. And my husband called to tell me his dad will cover my trip to CT to see my mom in December (he's got flyer miles that will just expire anyway).

Times like these I kind of feel like everything's all right. :-)

My head is a bit clearer now.

I've come to terms with the fact that I am not going to get my entire surface design midterm done on time, but I'm not fretting over it any more. I'm just going to do what I can. That's all my professor can really expect of me.



Also, I got my docs today! They fit perfectly and make me feel like a bad-ss.

My professor just commented on my status on facebook. I wrote "It puts the lotion on the skin." His reply was "Or it gets the hose again."
Little things like that make the day worth smiling for.
