Damien just sent me a messege saying he is doing everything he can to come see me asap. It made me smile.

Payday this coming Thursday from both jobs. I have to buy a dress for the wedding I am going to at the end of the month. And I get to FINALLY do my hair. It needs a dye job really badly

Went to the hubby's cousin's baby shower and had a fantastic time. And Grandma-in-law didn't make any rude comments about my ethnicity or wieght today...in fact, she hardly spoke to me at all! Oh, and word got around that I was back in school, so strangers were calling me "doctor"!

I am finally in a new dorm!!!!!!!!!!! I have to go back and get my fridge tommorow evening though, oh well! at least I am out!

Worked a good 5 hours today. Probably the same tomorrow. And it's Thanksgiving so I get paid time and a half ( holiday pay) plus this weekend there is another 2 weddings. The hours will add up which will come in handy for the holidays. I won't let the cut back in hours stop me from getting the stuff I want. Especially my tattoos

I'm not "woo hoo" happy about this, but I'm less nervous:

I spoke to my boss about his retirement plans (I overheard him calling to apply for benefits last week). He was looking into significantly reducing his hours at the gallery (in order to partially remove himself from the payroll) and supplement his income with retirement benefits. Turns out, though, that if he wanted to do that, he'd be required to prove that he hired someone else to cover the hours he's no longer working. Which makes no sense, but that's gov't for you -- the same gov't that would have preferred that Mom & me not be on welfare but wouldn't let me save for college. So, he's not going that route at this time. (Incidentally, the stipulation only applies for those retiring below age 66; if you retire then or after, apparently you can work and still get full benefits.)

So I'm not on the chopping block jobwise, but I'm still going to continue looking for a better position.

I got to talk to damien tonight. He made me feel happy. I should be coming to see me within the next few months. I couldn't stop smiling.

Plus I told my mom to pick up her dogs crap on the floor. She got upset and said she would take care of it. She ended up stepping in it and got mad.

I'm off from work on Monday!

The jeweler by my house gave me $100 for my old gold hoop earrings! Later on I'll raid my jewelry box and see what else I have to sell.

I think I'm about to have some hot coco. How can you go wrong with a hot chocolatey drink in cold weather?
