| I thought it would be interesting for every one to share his or her greatest fixations.
I personally LOVE the Phantom of the Opera. One of my major goals in life is to see the stage production at least five times, and it's coming to Ohio this summer... I'm praying like mad that my mom will let me see it! |

| I'm not so much into Phantom of the Opera so much as the Nightwish cover of the title song.
For me,
*languages (my bookshelf looks like the reference section for languages at a library)
*Music (mainly symphonic power metal, or similar sounding stuffs)
*mythology
*history (ancient mainly. Don't care much for the more current stuff)
*sewing
*drawing
*adventure games (tomb raider, omikron, zelda, ect)
*baking (just not the dishes after the fact)
*various other oddities. |

| In no particular order:
Various forms of visual art.
Working with my hands: on art, jewelry, sometimes cooking.
Wings of all kinds.
Angels, particularly the attributes of healing and diligence.
Vampires, for plenty of reasons.
Clothes! Esp. any that make me look extraordinary.
Jewel-tone colors. Red (even my wedding gown was partly red), forest green, blue-green, violet. But also silver, and black, naturally.
Filigree! Any kind -- lace, Celtic knotwork, wrought iron, interplay of bare branches against sky.
Music: '70s rock, modern thought-provoking rock (stick me in the Toolshed too, heh), gritty old blues, celtic music (hammered dulcimer, i.e. Maggie Sansone, etc.)
Dance.
Chocolate. Best opiate I've tried.
Vegetarian and vegan cooking, esp. vegan baking.
Nutrition. I'm a dork like that -- I'm fascinated by the effect of certain foods on my physical performance. (Which is not to say I always eat healthy. *blush*)
Love. Romance. I have no choice with those; they're obsessions whether I like it or not.
Silly anime.
More to come, probably... or I could just edit this list all day. But I'm at work. hehe |

It seems to have impacted my worldview as well since I began studying it. I'm not majoring in it, but I've loved all of the sociology classes I've taken thus far and am planning to take many more. |
