Today God has desided to grace me with the wonderful gift of the niagra falls of woman hood. Which means I've had cramps of death along with other things we can probably figure out. Ugh. Idk if another cuddling session is a good idea for tonight. I feel like crap. Now I'm starting to get a head ache.

That's one of the worst pains- those wounds take forever to heal! Invest in some good lotion; that will help a lot. My mom used to be a nurse (and hence always had cracked hands from washing her hands so frequently) and she swears by Camille Beckman lotion.

As for a humidifier, in the meanwhile you can just put large bowls of water near your heaters. I'm too much of a cheapskate to buy a humidifier, so this is what I've been doing in my apartment and it works wonderfully for keeping the humidity up.

^^ Good idea. I used to do that back when I lived at my grandmother's house. We had radiators, so we'd just put the pan/bowl on top of a radiator.


You know what'd be nice? If my boss's little redneck friends stopped sending racist, sexist, heterosexist, theophobic "jokes" to our work email address. Better still if my boss kept a private email account for this sort of garbage.

I'm going to see if I can set up a personal folder for my boss (in Outlook) so those emails go directly in there.

2. I'm tired of having to guide or redirect random people who walk into my evaluation room looking for a coworker of mine who is never at his desk (especially during my lunch break). When did I become the receptionist/information desk?

My rant for today: GAH! This health crap never ends! My dad's been going to the doctor pretty frequently since his accident, and as if his screwed up muscles and torn rotator cuff weren't enough, he was just diagnosed with diabetes. When will this end?

Um this is kinda bad. But I figured I would turn to you guys for advice. I went in to work today. My boss called me in early so I couldn't hang out with matt before he had to go to work. Anyway I hate it because there is always this older guy there. He is a regular obviously and I just work there 3 times a week now with cindy but cindy is there very day. He looks like he is in his 60's-70's. He always sits in the hot tub and he always hits on me saying he doesn't understand how I could be single or says I should go out with him cuz I'm so pretty.

Normally he keeps it to saying I'm making you blush aren't I. I make you blush and smile a lot. But today was different. There wasn't really much room to sit in the hot tub so after I had cindy sit I had to sit by him. He asked me if I was still really single and I said yes because matt and I aren't exclusive yet. He kept repeating like normal I make you blush don't I. I make you smile don't I. Whatever.

That's when OMG happened. When I talk to him I just say sure cuz I don't want to be rude or mean. But today... He pulled me over to sit closer to him. Ok whatever. Odd but no bit deal. Then he said, "can you get out of work early if you wanted to? We could go... Yea you know. I would date you." Then he started squeezing my hand. He kept saying you like that? I was trying to pull away but I said sure in a sarcastic manner. Then he started rubbing the outside of my thigh to the inside of my thigh. He kept repeating you like that. I could talk. I couldn't say anything other then sure cuz my head stopped working while I was trying to move away.

Then I said I had to take cindy into the pool when I was able to get my head on straight. Then he slapped my a$$ in the water. I almost fell over in the hot tub from shock. My mom yelled at me for not saying anything. But really? I don't know who to go to or if anything would even be done since all I could mutter was sure.

^^ Ummm, don't give a crap I'm on the job or not, but if someone touched me in any way, I would slap/beat the living sh*t out of them.


Not an option? Shouldn't of gone along with his flirtatious comments or anything.


Not sure what you can do lol. Probably talk to your boss about it and tell what happened so maybe something can be done about it. Don't want him feeling up on ya again.

DCGG, Tell someone! I take it this is a public pool? Let management there know! let your boss know! He might be harassing other women or even little girls as well. Scary!

I totally agree with Diva's suggestion-- you're probably not the only woman he's harassing, and you should take this seriously.

He does not get to get away with this. He's thinking he can b/c of his age -- remember, this wouldn't be acceptable from someone your age, either.

Well my boss or my higher boss doesn't have anything to do with it. I don't work for the community center where the pool is. I just kinda was like woah... Is this really happening right now? My mom got mad at me and matt said he would visit me at work to make sure I was ok. My mom said she would come along too. I should of told someone while I was there but I didn't know who to go to. I was still in shock/ trying to forget it happened.

^^How about the people who manage the pool? It's not too late.
