| Holy crap, those are amazing!!! Are you gonna get some little bat and spider confettis in yours?
I had really long acrylics for years. I've had bad eczema on my hands for the last few months though, so I'm forced to be au natural. Boo! |

| Wow, that aquarium nail thing is awesome! I've got short nails with a shimmery dark brown nail polish, Chanel's Haut Chocolat. By the way, Nutra Nail Basecoat & Ridge Filler is awesome! Helps the nail polish last longer. Looks great on its own too. |

| Varnish hardly stays on a few hours on my nails before they start to peel and chip, so I don't do a whole lot with them. _________________ I'm a werewolf, not a vampire! |

| For 31 years (thereabouts) I had long, strong nails. But this year they've been weak. Lately they've been short with clear nail hardener on them. Typically they're mid-length and silver. I love doing them red, but I have to be careful b/c red polish can transfer (given enough pressure and clutziness) onto the matboard and papers I work with in framing. I'd like to do black more often, but it would scare my elderly Southern clientele. And sales figures have been bad enough these days. So I mostly save black/purple/blue for pedicures, unless it's just for the weekend. So, favorite colors: red, silver, black, purple. Sometimes copper. Oh -- if anyone comes across a true chrome finish nailcolor, let me know! |

| ugh...that would drive me crazy. I got a manicure for a wedding last year and those things drove me nuts, and I got them short! I keep my nails cut very short because I type a lot and I'm a violinist. Long nails just bug me. >_<
I'll paint mine black or blood red from time to time, and just let the varnish chip off. Looks pretty old skool. |

| I am hopelessly addicted to cheap press-ons, the trashier the better. If I could afford it, I would get ludicris acrylics, but I do enjoy the weekly changability of press-ons.
One of the plusses to press-ons is that any technique can be done by you. I frequently get the cheap Kiss multipack of clear oval nails, pull out 10 that fit me, use double-sided tape to stick them to the cover of an old phonebook and then paint them while off my hands. You can use a thin paint-brush dipped in any color nail polish, but most often paint them purple or black with little white stripes or spider webs. You can get true chrome doing this- I sometimes hit the whole set while still on the phonebook with a blast of spray paint. I'll take pics and post them later. |

| I honestly don't understand how women can wear acrylic nails. I personally don't find them attractive & think they look bulky & irritating, plus the more one wears them the more they ruin your nail-bed and make it harder for natural nails to grow. But, then again, I've never had to wear them because my nails are strong & grow really long naturally. & they curve like talons I usually only pull out the black nail polish during Halloween because it chips too easily, so I mainly just wear a clear top coat for shine |

| Wow, instead of a nail art aquarium I want to make mine into a lava lamp!!!!!!
I can see how they can be bulky and hard to deal with, but it would be fun to have for a few days.
I have never worn arcylic nails in my life. I dont want to go to a salon, and I cant have them for school. Maybe I will try once for a special occasion.
When I was younger I liked to use press-ons with Lisa Frank nail stickers
Has anyone ever used this before?? http://www.sallyhansen.com/product.cfm?product=374 |

| Wow! That stuff looks cool. I've painted my nails since I was about 13 - I cant stand bare nails. Mine are currently about two and a half inches long (been off work) and half black and half red. I think I'm wasted working in the law - I should open a nail bar instead. Used false nails once only - one of them disappeared into my friend's hair during a huggle _________________ Well, the Devil he taught us how to rock and then he turned us loose |

| ^^Haha, I lost one of my neon pink and green striped ones in Dorian's bed. He found it later and was greatly amused. I've never tried the Sally Hansen nail pen but it looks super cool. I tend to just use a tiny paintbrush because it can go in any of my dozens of colors. Dark colors chip less if you use a good top and basecoat. I use an opi top and base coat on my natural nails. What goes between them can be cheap. |

| Emmature, I love cheapie press-on nails too! I don't wear them as often because I can't type with them on, but for holidays and special occasions I get crazy. I just love your suggestion of painting the nails before putting them on. I never even thought about that. Genius!!!
I own about, I dunno, 75 or so different colors of nail polish. I usually wear a color for about a week or so, and then when it starts chipping and looking nasty I move on to a new color. |

| I used to go with my girlfriend and get mine done in a salon ever week but I wasn't really impressed with the durability of the finish. Plus they would always use the brush that came with the bottle which whilst easy is lazy and messy. |

I'm assuming you are right handed. I am right handed and I get the same results when I try to paint my nails on my right hand._________________ I'm a werewolf, not a vampire! |

| My favorite thing to have done is either a black and red manicure with the black as the base with red tips or a baby blue and silver manicure with the silver as the base and baby blue tips. |
