| Beseech aren't THAT bad... but that's also very near to my favourite music style... I don't actually listen to them personally, but I'd prefer them to Buttersprites. Really not keen at all on the Danzig though. They could have really not done that. |

| Nickelback, and anything that has that same beer-ad sound. Which is most modern "hard rock" played on Clear Channel radio stations. |

I also want to stab myself in the face every time I hear Hootie and the Blowfish. |

| 3Oh3
This is without question the worst music to have come out in the last decade. Atari Teenage Riot and Mindless Self Indulgence had some great musical ideas, but a decade later those who water-down a style ruin a good thing.
That "shush girl, shut your lips" song, actually makes me want to become physically violent, it's that bad. I wouldn't pull the guys in 3Oh3 out of a burning car, true story.
But to be fair, there is so much bad music out there, that it's hard to find anything meaningful. Most music, and about 99% of pop-music, is about creating a glossy and simple sound which doesn't require the listener to think. Now I'm not asking for every band or group to constantly create thought-provoking music like Tool, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, NIN, etc; but is it too much to ask pop-culture to not think 3Oh3 and Soulja Boy are talented?
On the flip side of course you have Coldplay, who people think are deep, when they're meaningless drivel as well.
Thank goodness Lady Gaga is making pop-music that is interesting. |

Re: Coldplay: Thanks to both of you for confirming my aversion to that empty garbage! Why do people listen to that? It's like being really hungry and choosing to eat cardboard. Jeez.
Spooky, it took me a second to think of which song you were talking about with the "shush girl" line. I heard it once blasting out the car windows of some frat-boy douche, and yeah, I wanted to pull said douche from his car and do something regrettable. |

What is wrong with people liking these two, they're lyrics are as if one were to transform Dr Seuss into vacant, dopey, trampy girls who compensate nothing original or of any importance to say into exaggeration. Shut up. How is Christina's albums struggling against these over produced, cookie-cutter pop humans.
Also.... Auto-Tune, if you use, I hope all of the bad things in life only happen to you and those like you |

I listened to a few seconds of Katy Perry and couldn't stand her voice. Her talking voice is wretched enough._________________ I'm a werewolf, not a vampire! |

| ^^ Well the sad thing is, there's actually a well-written song called "I Kissed a Girl" by Jill Sobule -- but now when anyone mentions I Kissed A Girl, people think of Katy Perry.
Lyrics to the better song
Katys really doesn't compare. |

I can still remember being in middleschool when Beavis & Butthead watched that video, and were giggling about her lyrics. |
