Looks fantastic Ab!!!

After looking for the right geisha image I wanted to get tattooed...I was originally going for traditional Japanese art prints until I came across the artist Haruyo Morita.
Too many to pick from. But I know I'll be getting more than one tattoo with her art.
As for the first one to get on my arm...





If the tattoo artist can fit 2 of them on my arm, that would be great!! I'd just get one geisha at a time. I'm leaning towards the first pic but they are all so pretty!!!

Yeah...I was leaning towards the 3rd as my second choice.
I just have to remember to print them out so the tattoo artist can work his magic.

Ok I'm sad to say I haven't done anything yet. But I figured I would share with you all that I finally decided what I'm getting. As most of you probably remember I get keyloids so I wasn't sure if I could get one. Well when I get money I'm getting my ink test. I should have that and my tattoo done with in the next year. But my tattoo artist has pretty much assured me that he has never seen anyone with keyloids have problems from their shop. But anyway I decided I'm going to get a skull with flames above its head. In the flames it is going to say RIP. In the right eye I'm going to have my dads initials. When my mom passes I'm going to put her initals. I'm not sure if I want the date of death going down the cheak like a tear or not. What do you all think?

I need pictures of my tatts! I have a tiny little spider silhouette behind my left ear, and a really beautifully coloured orange and pinky koi in traditional Japanese style on my left hip/stomach. When I get a sensible amount of spare money, I start work on my geisha half sleeve, while drawing up the piece fro the other half sleeve.

^^I don't use pics for visuals. I kinda just come up with this crap on the top of my head. But like I said should have this within the next year.

I'm getting lazy. I should have had like 3 tattoos done this summer but instead I buy food.

^^That's the problem with not having tons of money. You have to buy what you need instead of what you want. If I had the money I would have at lease two by now. I haven't even gotten my first one which I was supposed to get almost two years ago.

Brand new! So happy. And as for the money thing, I am very, VERY lucky to be friends with a tattoo artist. He had planned to cut me a deal- fifty bucks, but the person in his chair before me was so awful to tattoo that he charged me 40 just to thank me for not being "one of those girls".

It looks kind of gnarly to me right now, but a fresh tattoo always looks worst the first morning after, when it's still all bloody and gross.

Well my mind has been working again...I wanted a sugar skull on my calf, and I started looking around on the net for images of sugar skulls. I wanted something different than the norm (imagine that). So I had an idea for a steampunk sugar skull....

This is just the line art, I will have it colored within the next couple of days. I need to get a copper paint pen :-) (his teeth will be metal too)

The art is not mine, but it will be covering up the crab on my left arm so I put a circle around it and colored it in so that it will cover the old tattoo.

I also really like this sugar skull...(and now for the life of me I cannot find the original link so I uploaded it to my photobucket...if anyone comes across this and has the original site I'd love to give credit)

figured this would be the thread to put this in, though it is a bit off topic...
what is it like getting a tatoo?? I really want one, but I have this awful fear of needles, I automatically tense up just thinking about getting shots. I haven't known anyone to get one, so I figured I'd ask ya'll

allright, doesn't sound too bad! I'm going to get one, now to just find a simple design.

On Sunday I got my triskel, I'm not really happy with the outline and the tattoo under it is still a bit visible (especially in the flash of the camera). The artist said he will touch it up for free when it heals.
