| First off, thanks everyone who worried and enquired after my wellbeing! I'm kind of surprised to have been missed, but so deeply flattered. Yay! people like me!
In short, I had a nervous breakdown. Not a vanilla breakdown, requiring a day or two off work to collect oneself. No, the "Miss Flocke is considered to be a danger to herself and others and as such will require inpatient treatment," kind of breakdown.
But my mom, bless her, made a 6 hour drive in 4, showed up at the doctor's offices, and signed off on all this paperwork saying that she and dad would be able to monitor me 24/7 and keep me out of danger.
But mom had agreed to be the maid of honor in my goofy uncle's vow renewal ceremony. In Florida. Fortunately, mom had a schizophrenic sister who killed herself, so my grandma, aunts and uncles, etc. know how And i was past the crisis point by then. So I spent a week laying on the beach, fishing, swimming, shopping, visiting 16th century cemeteries, and generally having the best vacation of all time. And to think- all i had to do was lose track of my personal hygiene and become convinced that everyone around me was conspiring to kill me! Haha... ah, dark humor... where would i be without it?
Anyway, i got home, broke my router, and haven't been online much. But yesterday i broke down and shelled out the 75 bucks for a new one. My world is a happier place for it.
So what have i missed? Anything important, crazy or newsworthy? Any breakups, makeups, weddings, funerals, or drastic haircuts? Fill me in! Emma needs data! |
