    I started listening to them about 6 or 7 years ago, they're inactive doing side projects right now, but when they're together I don't know many better. Yuichi is a badass guitarist, technically speaking the guy is incredible, and Shimamoto's vocals would be considered fantastic for a giant Swedish man, so that voice coming out of 5 foot tall Japanese girl makes it even better.

    Their self titled debut was in 2001, below is the opening track.

    I found some more to add to the list thanks to Pandora.. I'll let you look up the songs this time though.

    Luca Turilli's Dreamquest (I really liked this one)
    Theatre of Tragedy
    The Black Mages (not sure if this is female fronted or male... the song I heard was an instrumental)
