Everyone has already seen what I have. Hopefully I can get a new one before I go back to work in September.

I am unsure what tattoo to get!!

What are the pros and cons of getting a tattoo? + Where is the best place to have it?

If you 'Um' and 'Aw' about getting a tattoo then dont bother getting one; be 100% certain that you want it.

Yeah I did it on PC, I wanted something with lines coming off an Ankh.

I have an idea to add though... what about a few roses (or another flower) wrapped around the lines? Or maybe some thorns? Admittedly cliche, but it would look even more stunning...! (That's what i would do, at least) It's up to you madam; it's YOUR tat!

I have 3 of them.

The worst was the yin/yang design I got on my lower back(since I am older I want to add that I got a lower back tattoo before they became trendy).
The ones on my legs weren't too bad,one is still sort of unfinished though.

I'm planning on getting this as a chest piece. I drew and designed it myself. I'm not sure if I want to color it or to have it black and white, woodcut style or to have it shaded grey and black. Whaddyathink?
Oh yes, the little oval bits on the hourglass will have a crab and a scorpion to symbolize me and my boy.

Thanks! I was wondering, do you all think it might be adventagous to move a rose or something to make it more visually interesting? I've always been told that symmetry is boring.

I've known alot of decorators who group things in groups of three instead of two for more visual impact.
Maybe you could add another rose in an unexpected place?

You know I will, Kasha! I'm also planning a sleeve that is done in the style of the old scientific animal drawings of the 1800s. Octopi, manta rays, bats, thing of that sort!

I'm planning a Japanese sleeve based on the old Japanese woodblock prints.
