| ^^ So simple really. Took a pair of tights cut the top and bottom, made a hole wider for my thumbs. With the elastic from the tights I chopped it in half and hand stitched the elestic to the tights. _________________ |

Hot glue guns are wonderful if you do not want to sew This bag took little time to make! I want more |

| Just finished my dance costume for an upcoming Halloween-themed performance:

Closeups of the belt. I took the skinny satin ribbon and just freehand sewed it onto the belt sections:

| Thanks Vampira Well I started it a couple months ago but there was a big chunk of time after I finished the top that I didn't work on it. The part that took the longest was the fringe belt, because I took different types of yarn and did a single chain crochet. Putting the grommets in had to be spread out over a few days due to my hands hurting. Of course the whole troupe will want a similar costume LOL! |

| Finished another thing the other night. This was a duvet cover for I think a king-size bed. Found it at a thrift store for $10. So far I've gotten this jacket (was ankle length but I decided to cut it shorter), a tote bag and a mini vest out of it. And there's LOTS left! And the best part is...I was at Value Village a month or so ago...and there was ANOTHER ONE of the same duvet cover there! I don't know if it's the same size but I snatched it up just the same! I might actually use it on my bed this time Now for pics, on the ever-present mannequin that is too small. Therefore the jacket looks a bit rumpled. Also the pics have been lightened so you can see the stripes. Far Away Close Up Sleeve Detail - the sleeve is split from the button to the hem |
