I don't know about where you guys are, but they also uped the prices of it all. that's what i think the biggest factor is... $80 for a badly made baggy "evil" jester costume? Heck no! I could sew one for a fraction of that and it would look a million times better!

Though.. that's not the reason i came to this thread.... I thought you all would enjoy this...

Every Wal-Mart that I have been to has absolutely nothing as far as decorations, but they have plenty of costumes.

Our neighborhood is starting to look a bit like Halloweentown now.

Folks probably have last year's decorations stashed away yet don't seem to be in any hurry to get out and set them up.

The neighborhood children are certainly ready for some spooky celebrating though....!

Some people are already starting to wear their costumes. Yesterday, I saw a guy wear a Clockwork Orange costume.

So lucky!! I used to live 2 hours from there and wanted to go last halloween, ma said no....

My halloween plans consist of a midnight picnic in a graveyard tonight after seeing paranormal activity and then tommorow, who knows?

Nope....but someone asked me why I wasn't wearing black lipstick. wtf

Tonight I may or may not go to a haunted house up in Rye, NY. Was excited about going out earlier in the week, but now I just don't care. Seriously. We've been to the same one three years in a row now, and it's always the same. snor

No plans for tomorrow as of yet...I did all my Halloween partying last Saturday. Hopefully something fun will present itself.

And my damn white foundation wore off by lunch time. meh

That's pretty darn awesome! Cool

What would be amazingly cool is if one of them would turn their head, eyes flash red and say.. "What are you looking at!

But maybe, this isn't creepy at all, but only an endearing display of this creature's natural state of reproduction.

It's hard to believe mainstream Halloween is but a day away and over. *sad sigh*

I always find 1st November really depressing because I build up to Halloween for about six months. Having said that, none of the new ornaments I've put up this year will ever be taken down so each year we get just a little bit creepier and that has to be a good thing Laughing

I put the last touches on my Silent Hill costume. I took my nurse dress and dusted my house to get my costume old looking. Its a good technique that will wash out!!

Thank you. I will post pictures. My costume is not 100% correct, in the movie the nurse's faces are covered. I cant do that or else I will run into people on the dance floor

There is the Silent Hill 3 nurse that basically just has overdone makeup.

It's basically a red box of lipstick around the mouth and a bit of blue eye shadow, but of course you have to use pale foundation.

Halloween on the north lawn of The White House
Quote :

Performers in their Halloween costumes, entertain trick or treaters on the north lawn of the White House during the Halloween celebrations, Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, in Washington. President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama on Saturday doled out presidential M&Ms and dried fruit mixes to more than 2,000 trick-or-treaters, marking their Halloween at a White House event partly aimed at honoring military families.

Dried fruit mixes???!!! tear
