Most of the criticism I have read about Megan is that she really can't act, but I honestly can't vouch for the claims because the movies she has been in aren't the ones I would normally watch.

^^ Well, she's been in crap movies, though. She hasn't been in anything good yet, but from what I read, she's working on more indie films lately. And she does seem humble and driven; a couple quotes from the Allure interview:

"I try to be efficient whenever I'm at work, any kind of work; I don't like wasting people's time and wasting my own time."

"I've said hundreds of times that I don't feel deserving of the success that I have, that I don't feel like I should be where I am, that there are a million people that would be better at what I'm doing."

She used to read comic books, she watches Mythbusters... she seems pretty real, I think.

The reporting is that there is a back and forth between her and Michael Bay (and a few other crew members). She calls him Hitler when he's directing, which corroborates with other people telling of his attitude, and he called her a stuck up b!tch--so it goes both ways.

If she watches Mythbusters, then there is definitely an intelligence to her.

I haven't been able to find the youtube(s) visual aids to support and share with my opinion. Not that it's really required, but you know, it would have been nice.

I really feel Nicole came dancing into this DWTS with an advantage.

Some are of the opinion that skating is dancing on ice. Which I somewhat hold to the belief it is too in a way, but this competition is on individual abilities and one's improvement. Now I am not dissing on Evan, but we ALL know Nicole being a Pussycat Doll to boot, I think all she had to do mostly is practice the dance steps.

Evan on the other hand had not only to get these down but had to work just a tad little on bringing the sensualness to his movement and interaction with his partner, that Nicole had " wrapped up in'a bow."

And Len, Len was quite obviously impressed with Nicole from the get go, which is not unknown for judges to have a favorite and she is talented as well as G-gorgeous. I have the same opinion though as some of those who commented on the article... What was up with Len telling her there could only be one winner and that it was her even before Evan & Anna had performed their final dance???

I wonder if they heard him say that. Ok, I know that shouldn't matter and you should go out there to wow regardless, but come on that's got to be a little deflating to anyone.

Which makes me wonder if it was already over before we the viewers knew it was over. When they showed Evan & Anna waiting before their final dance I got this odd sort of feeling and during their final dance as if they knew they weren't going to win.

^^You are absolutely right. I knew from the get go that Nicole would win. I thought it wasn't fair that she would even be in the show. I kind of thought having a figure skater on the show was kind of bad, too, well, at least for the other contestants.

I agree, Ginger. Besides, the originals are great b/c, well, they're original ideas. They're not remakes!
