I think the company that makes them also supplies adult stores with them too, you can find thoses there. Someone at the factory that makes the straws could have thought it would be funny to slip a few into packages going out to the general public. But you really have to look into it. Packaging can be tampered with and someone else could have slipped them in.

I don't think it's Wal-marts fault. They have to react to situations in the manner they did or they'd get continually sued out of business. The mom should have brought the straws back, shown them to the manager and been given a refund and a free couple packs for her trouble. Although giving her free packs might be considered legally as having accepted wrongful doing on Wal-marts part. The straws should still have been taken off the shelves and looked at for any other packages containing thoses shapes.

I guess we're well mixed here then.... Sure there's areas with higher ethic concentrations, but there's still others there too.

The customers did have a point though, they knew in advance there was going to be a special that many many many people will flock to, so they should have have ordered way more than usual.
