| Let the right one in --- 5/10 for this film, I wasnt too keen on the Vampire girl (12 years old?!) getting in bed with another 12 year old boy in the nude! That kinda irked me a bit.
This is one film I wont be watching again. _________________ Arrgghhh Zombie Kitty!!

Well, technically, she's NOT a girl. The movie didn't really touch on that part, even though Eli does keep saying "I'm not a girl", the movie leads you to believe that she means that she is a vampire, not a human girl, but that is the wrong conclusion. in the novel, Eli is a boy. The vampire who turned him cut off his genitals right before making him a vampire - making him a vampire "eunich". |

| "Heavenly Creatures" -- a 1994 film drama and Kate Winslet's first motion picture. Based on a true story 1954 murder case involving two teenage young women in New Zealand (Pauline Parker and Juliet Hulme.) Their bios can be found on Wikipedia. Disturbing, yet deeply thought provoking film. I'd give it 3 out of 4 stars.

| ^^ Ah, that's a good one. Directed by Peter Jackson. It was required viewing for one of my gender studies classes. |

| The Runaways. It was actually really good, in spite of the reviews. It was criticized for not having a single overriding message, but it was biographical -- *life* doesn't have a single overriding message, because the plot is not scripted.
Kristen Stewart was a very believable Joan Jett. Must have been a nice change for her, taking a break from the vampire-chewtoy roles to portray a devoted musician and a kick-a$$ woman! |

| We just saw Kick A$$. And I just found out that I'm officially an old fart.
The plot was good, and the revenge scenes were pretty satisfying -- one is done to a Joan Jett song. But I found out I have a threshold for violence/gore, and I'm sad to say it's lower than average. I wasn't sick or anything, I just found myself resenting the overuse of violence whenever the plot got thin. But that's just my weak old a$$ -- if you love Tarantino, you'll love this. |

| Tony, Portrait of a Serial Killer Loved it even though Tony looked like the guy from Sparks We've just downloaded something about H H Holmes which looks very interesting.
