| Awesome!!! Roller Derby looks like so much fun. I've always wanted to play but, I've never really played any kind of sport(besides skateboarding), especially not contact sports. Though I suppose if I could handle flying off my skateboard and getting bruises on half my arms, then I could probably take roller derby related injuries. I don't know, I can't decide if I'm a tough girl or a wuss. I'm most afraid of somehow breaking my wrists and being SOL as far as doing anything music/art related goes. |

| I did my own taxes for the very first time. I'm excited in that regard but... Bit worried as I have this 1099-C paper and... never saw a place to enter its information on the site. Guess it doesn't matter if it's accepted... but wont know for certain until sometime within the next 24-48 hours. |

| Lmao, it's Oklahoma... tornado weather just isn't that big of deal to me. Though I suppose walking through pouring rain and thousands of marble sized chunks of ice might qualify slightly more. Poor Chuck-E-Cheeses (and Sam's & Hobby Lobby) though... they got hit. Not that I care, I find C-E-C's demise amusing and all those places are like 30-45 minutes away from where I live anyways... |

| In biology class we castrated rats (there were under) to see the affects of testosterone, or lack there of. I felt so bad for the rats. I almost cried. Thats the one down side of being a bio major _________________ **Heads up- soon I will be changing my user name SPF to Carbon

| I went to a fire show with my friend Liz last Saturday & it was gorgeous & f**king fun as hell. I was surrounded by like-minded, beautiful people, which, is sad to say, hard to come by where I live. I was able to take pix of the show & I will post those at a later time. Being there & taking photos made me realize even more that I need to get my work & name out there & try to make a career of this. This is my calling.... _________________ | The real power that controls us is the shameful, endless, consuming, destroying, unquenchable, greed for love |

| Twenty minutes ago I finished my last meal, and starting at noon today, I have begun a cleansing fast. My goal is for five days, where I'll be drinking a mixture of lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper and tepid water every couple hours. I do have school and work this week, so that will prove both a benefit and a burden. It will give me time to stay busy and active without dwelling on food, but I have to make sure it doesn't effect hourly consumption of the lemon-drink mixture. I'll also be keeping up with my artwork, exercise routines, and a fair amount of yoga and meditation to keep my mind calm yet occupied.
This is something I've thought about doing for some time, and it's a challenge I'm looking forward to besting. Detoxifying and weight-loss aside, I feel like I need to challenge myself both physically and mentally is some fashion. _________________ |

| The waiter at this Chinese restaurant that me and Squeaky went to kept flirting with me. By the time it came to pay for our meals, he gave us half off, so I ended up paying about $10.50. It was awesome. Think it might have had something to do with the new look. If it did, I think i'll keep it |

| I went and took pictures of a Bald Eagles nest today and I actually got to see one flying around. I am going to go back often in the next couple of weeks so I can see if there is more activity then there was today. _________________ Good beginnings are half done

Good fun indeed
The first thing I must remark upon is the wonderful sense of community I experienced, I had felt a similar thing at goth gigs, clubs or festivals but not to this degree! Oh you are all such lovely people!
A minor costume flaw being that my harness although being made for my bust and waist measurements was too long for me in the body and so bunched up a bit. A lot of people really enjoyed it, in more ways than one ;p. Had one guy be the victim of a spooked Unicorn which was good fun, nice cross between trampling and ponygirls...
it was kinda awkward due to balancing in the pony boots so most of the 'trampling' was me standing and pounding his chest with my front hooves and the kicking, due to balance was done with his knelt behind me more ease and a horse kick to the desired areas ;p.
Acts were good fun although the sound techs had a good few problems.
Sadly the gas ran out of something so there was no hot food on offer and I shan't spend £1 on a bag of crisps.
Really nice social event didn't get much playing done sadly ;(
The Unicorn play side of the event was fantastic for me.
Being lead about my by harness/bridle, the silence and the curious eyes, speaking with my mind instead of my mouth, stamping my hooves, being petted... oh and trampling and kicking that 'poor' man ;p |

| Finally lit a fire under myself: I woke up Sat. morning, wrote a cover letter during breakfast, printed out a resume, and finally brought them both to the art museum! The state-run division of the museum is under a hiring freeze, but there's a separate foundation affiliated with the museum that may have some openings. Besides, you never know if someone's about to take maternity leave or move out of state, so I thought I'd try my luck. The museum is in the midst of an expansion that'll increase its size by 30-50%, so I'm hoping that they'll need some more staff for the new wing. A few crossed fingers on my behalf would be much appreciated! |

| Thanks so much ladies! I'd love to get my foot in the door at the museum. My present job is great, but I've gone as far as I can go in the 9 years I've been here, and things aren't looking up pay-wise. Hopefully I'll find a new position before I need to. |

| I went to this cool Japanese market in New Jerseyon Saturday and bought a boatload of fancy Japanese treats at one of their specialty shops. I also had some black sesame ice cream and it was delicious. |

It was this song:

One of the people there recorded on his cellphone... so there's still a chance... _________________ "de la noche venimos y hacia la noche vamos"

| Played in two symphony concerts over the weekend. We played to silent movies: two versions of Frankenstein, and Jekyl and Hyde. We also got to watch a clip of Dracula during the concert (no playing) and we played Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, and Indiana Jones. _________________ Goths don't identify with evil, we mourn the evil in society.
