I've really fallen in love with the pointed toe/winklepicker toed shoe; I guess because the pointed toed shoe looks a lot like the medieval poulaine.

I'm just going to put this out there in case someone on here has found these for a good price already.... Does anyone know where to find good renaissance peasant or royalty shoes? I need peasant ones to add to new costumes I wanna buy and my royalty ones really have a lot of wear and tear to them.

If you want a cheap peasant-esque shoe, you can get a pair of granny satin slippers from Wal-Mart or some simple Mary Jane flats will work.

Here are a couple of my favorite shoes for nobility:
Divit Toed Shoes
Beaded Renaissance Ladies Dress Shoes

Here are some Mary Jane flats. The Renstore usually has really cheap Mary Janes but they appear to be undergoing maintenance.

For real Medieval and Renaissance shoes here is:

Medieval Moccasins (I actually have a pair of these--really comfortable)

Ren Boots
Soles Thru Time

OMG, those are SWEET! I hate that I have such expensive taste in shoes...all I can do is window shop and daydream, lol!

I've made a pact to myself, that I will purchase a new pair of shoes or boots every week until school begins. I bought a new pair of dress shoes last week, and I have my eyes on some boots for this week. It's like Lord Of The Rings, but sans trolls and way more shopping.
